International Women’s day bike event

We would like to invite all girls  to the Equipe international Women’s day event. We will organize an event from the 7^th till the 9^th from our guesthouse

On women’s day the 8^th of March itself we will do a group ride on 3 levels starting at Eat Sleep Cycle and finish at the Equipe Guesthouse with coffee and some local Starsky and Hutch Donuts & snacks.
Everyone welcome ride starts at 1030.

Why we do this? Our guesthouse is owned and run by the lovely Wilma and we found that gender equality is something that is not on the level it should be in the Catalunya area. But besides that we want to show that woman can do awesome stuff by riding with strong entrepreneurial girls and pro’s from Girona and outside of the town.

Also in cycling it is still not where it should be, but improving strongly with womens teams growing and recent guidance on minimal wages! Now for that Paris Roubaix and a more serious Tour de France!

This trip includes;

• Two nights stay incl breakfast
• 2 days bike rental incl helmet, pedals.
• The organised ride on the 8th of march
