Girona
Girona is a city in Spain’s Catalonia region, beside the River Onyar. It’s known for its medieval architecture, narrow cobbled streets, walled Old Quarter (Barri Vell) and the Roman fortress remains. Landscaped gardens line the Passeig Arqueològic, a walkway following the Old Quarter’s medieval walls, which include watchtowers with sweeping views.
This small city has a vast selection of independent shops, cafes, restaurants and local produce, you can find almost anything that you are looking for.
Girona’s population is just over 98,000, its a city that is made up of a mixture of locals and tourists alike, bring a beautiful vibe that you really don’t find anywhere else in the world.
The Equipe House is situated in the small hill top area of Montjuic, offering stunning views of Girona and the surrounding mountains, evening sunsets with a cold drink or local Emporda wine are a must.
Transportation links are excellent, with services including an international airport (15km away / 25 min), high speed trains to Barcelona (45 min) or into France and regular local buses to the local villages or the Costa Brava.
